Know which companies your sales team should approach next
For industrial suppliers: Business Scouter finds companies in the area you choose that could buy from you, and shows the evidence behind each match.

Illustrative example
A supplier looking for its next customers
A supplier of hydraulic hoses and fittings wants to know which contractors, equipment rental firms and plant operators in two neighbouring regions are worth a visit this quarter.
They describe a good customer in plain words: runs heavy machinery, does its own maintenance, is within a day’s drive. Business Scouter searches the area, checks each company’s website and returns a shortlist with a score, the sources behind it, and what it could not confirm. The sales team decides who to call.
How it works
Define the companies you want to find.
We write a short brief with you: the industries, the signs of a good fit, and what rules a company out. Every company is checked against it.
Research a territory or upload an existing company list.
Two ways into the same list. We search a territory by keyword and location using Google Maps data, or you upload a CSV of companies you already know. Both go through the same checks.
Review a prioritized shortlist with sources and unknowns.
Each company gets a short written assessment and, where the evidence allows, a 1-5 relevance score with the web pages it relied on. When evidence is thin, the score stays blank and the assessment says so. Review it on a table or map and export it as CSV.
Business Scouter is deployed on your own infrastructure: your cloud account and your database, so the research stays with you. During the pilot, Pulsar runs the research from your brief and your team reviews and exports the results in the browser. After that, we help you run it.

Common questions
Is a high score proof that a company will buy?
No. The score shows how well the public evidence matches your brief. It says nothing about budget, timing or intent to buy. Your team still qualifies every company before contacting it.
Can we use a company list we already have?
Yes. Upload it as a CSV and it goes through the same checks as a territory search. Extra columns in your file are kept.
Where does the information come from?
Territory searches use Google Maps data. Assessments use each company’s own website and other public web pages, listed as sources next to the result. Google Maps results are subject to Google’s terms, so we do not offer them for unrestricted reuse or resale.
Can you help us contact the companies?
On request. Business Scouter finds and assesses companies; if you want, we add outreach by email and other channels your team uses, scoped and quoted separately. Your team decides who is contacted and what is said.
Where does it run, and where is our data?
On your own infrastructure: your cloud account and your database. Your team uses it in the browser with nothing to install. We set it up and help you run it.
What happens after the pilot?
We review the results with you and decide together whether to continue. Continued use is quoted separately, with any recurring charge and minimum term stated up front.
